TMCF acquired the Opportunity Funding Corporation (OFC) in 2013, as a vehicle to re-infuse an entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship skills and experience into the African-American community, with HBCUs as the central hubs. The newly re-designed OFC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program is a three-day conference where you will use critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems.
You will compete against your peers during the workshop that will both challenge and reward you! Students will be tasked with developing solutions to business, social, or educational problems and then pitching their ideas to a panel of expert judges comprised of entrepreneurs, small business owners, executives, venture capitalists and other investors.
On the final day, teams will pitch their ideas at the Pitch & Win Competition before an expert panel. In past years, prizes have included an opportunity to attend Apple’s WWDC conference, Leadership Exchange Study Abroad Scholarship, Macbooks, and iPads to name a few.
