TMCF Yard Ambassador & Influencers (YA&I) are highly motivated student leaders who represent TMCF on campus. They serve as the face of the TMCF brand on their respective member-school campuses and create innovative ways to introduce fellow students, as well as faculty, to all TMCF has to offer. YA&Is are responsible for generating awareness, excitement, and buzz about TMCF throughout their campus and connecting talented students to TMCF programs.
YA&I are comfortable planning and presenting, and are already connected with groups, organizations, and key faculty at their schools. They are enthusiastic, outgoing, and clever individuals who can effectively communicate and translate the TMCF brand to their peers and school community.
YA&Is can expect to earn up to $1,500 per school year and work a flexible schedule of approximately 20 hours per month. This yearlong program will require a complementary mix of marketing, public speaking, relationship building, and social media skills in order to excel.
- Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate/post-graduate study
- A rising Sophomore or Junior
- Available a minimum of 20 hours per month
- Involved in or have access to student organizations and groups
- Willing to engage in a one-year commitment
● Conduct multiple activations per semester to incentivize students to engage in TMCF
programs.
● Support TMCF recruiters in the pre-coordination and day of facilitation of student
information sessions, professional development, workshops, and/or faculty presentations
on your campus.
● Engage students, faculty, and administrators through events and activities that align with
the TMCF brand and its mission.
● Identify and actively introduce TMCF to influential campus groups and leaders.
● Increase campus penetration via personal social media promotion, on-campus
marketing activations, and mobile downloads.
● Accurately complete and submit reports in a timely manner, participate in
mandatory monthly online training and conference calls, Y A & I Immersion Program, as well as, attend the annual TMCF
Leadership Institute and training.
TMCF seeks a highly motivated student who:
● Has a full-time enrollment status at one of TMCF’s Member-Schools
● Is interested in pursuing a career in marketing, communications, PR,
business, or a related field
● Must have and maintain a cumulative 2.75 GPA
● Is an influencer and/or knowledgeable about marketing to students
● Has strong written and verbal communication skills
● Is knowledgeable about social media and its use to drive awareness,
interest, followers, and influence
● Is creative and curious
● Exhibits a fierce work ethic and is driven to exceed expectations and
overcome barriers.
● Is willing to use personal social media channels to post on behalf of TMCF
and its partners
● Is able to work nights and weekends if needed
● Is capable of lifting at least 50 lbs
