“If it wasn’t for Thurgood Marshall College Fund… I wouldn’t have been able to graduate ahead of my class. TMCF and my Jackson State University family have been instrumental in helping to alleviate many of the stresses that could have otherwise hindered me from being able to fully realize my potential. TMCF facilitated awareness about resources that were available for my education, personal and professional development. I was selected twice to attend the Leadership Institute held in Washington DC and New York City. Additionally, through TMCF I received the Wells Fargo Scholarship twice and mentored students through the TMCF/Walmart First-Generation Mentorship Program. The scholarships, leadership institutes, mentoring and support made the impossible possible. I am forever grateful for the life-long commitment I made with TMCF!

I am a reflection of Justice Thurgood Marshall because… I am a first-generation college student and a true representation of a minority student that had to pave his own road to success!”
