How to Apply

Applicants must submit the following documents for consideration:

  • Resume
  • Student Transcript (official or unofficial)
  • Recommendation letter from current school professor, faculty member or TMCF campus coordinator (must be completed online by the recommender)
  • Online Interview Questions:(You will be provided a link during the application process to answer.)

     

Briefly tell us about yourself, focusing on significant events that have shaped your character/personality.

How does the peer mentor position fit into your personal goals, how would you benefit from being a mentor?

Describe a time when you encouraged others to “buy into” your idea, perhaps through a group project, a work setting, etc. What happened and what did you learn?

If your mentee confided in you that he/she was having a difficult time academically and was homesick, what advice would you offer the student? What resources would you refer him/her to on-campus?

What were the biggest obstacles you faced while pursuing your educational goals and how did you overcome them?
