TMCF HBCU Career Incubator Program

Overview

The Citi Foundation partnered with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to launch the HBCU Career Incubator Program on 30 HBCU campuses. Over the next two years, this new initiative will provide first-year HBCU students with the critical support they need to graduate and to pursue their chosen career paths. TMCF will partner with 30 public HBCUs and will work with campus coordinators, career offices, faculty, and staff. Selected students will engage in a one-year multi-faceted professional development program designed to provide insight into a student’s strengths and talents, support choosing majors, college management and navigation, college and career coaching, secure stackable credentials related to their careers, and access to financial capability. The Citi Foundation’s work with TMCF is part of their flagship Pathways to Progress initiative that aligns with Citi and the Citi Foundation’s Action for Racial Equity commitment to close the racial wealth gap.
