Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is proud to offer financial assistance to  outstanding students attending a Historically Black College and University (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Scholars will be selected to receive a summer scholarship for 2021-2022 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be enrolled full-time and/or  part-time as an undergraduate or graduate student attending an accredited HBCU or a PBI during the summer session of the 2021-2022 academic school year.
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
