Scholarship Overview

Adobe is committed to bringing diverse perspectives and life experiences into the tech industry. We need individuals from diverse backgrounds to fuel innovation and create products that solve challenging problems for people all over the world. Which is why the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Adobe are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) through Adobe’s HBCU Ignite Scholarship. Fifty (50) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship up to $15,000 for the 2022-2023 academic school year, which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a HBCU during the 2022-2023 academic school year.
  • Open to designated majors:
    • Computer Science Engineering 
    • Computer Information Systems 
    • Data Science  
    • Business Administration (Sales, Finance, etc.)  
    • Finance and/or Accounting  
    • Marketing (Digital Marketing, Journalism, Communications, etc.) 
    • Design (UX, Graphic Design, etc.)
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Submitted the 2022-2023 FAFSA to your  selected university/college.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.

All Applicants Must:
