Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), and JPMorgan Chase are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Twenty three (23) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $10,000 for the 2022-2023 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing, but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need, and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis. 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2022-2023 academic school year.
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
