Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), and Mondelēz International are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Fifteen (15) scholars will be selected to receive a fall need-based scholarship up to $9,000 for 2022-2023 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees). This is a four-year renewable scholarship. Scholars who continue to meet the criteria, remain in good standing and maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA will be eligible for annual renewals.

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Must be a graduating senior in high school for the 2021-2022 academic year
  • Be enrolled full-time as an incoming freshman at a TMCF member-school during the 2022-2023 academic school year.
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Submitted the 2022-2023 FAFSA to your selected university/college.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
