Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending selected Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Five (5) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship up to $10,000 for 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Be enrolled full-time as a junior or senior at a select HBCU during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
  • Must attend

Central State University,
Dillard University,
Elizabeth City State University,
Fayetteville State University,
Grambling State University,
Huston-Tillotson University,
Jarvis Christian College,
Johnson C. Smith University,
Kentucky State University,
Langston University,
Livingstone College,
North Carolina A&T State University,
North Carolina Central University,
Paul Quinn College,
Prairie View A&M University,
Saint Augustine’s University,
Simmons College of Kentucky,
Southern University and A&M College,
Southern University at New Orleans,
Southern University at Shreveport-Bossier City,
Southwestern Christian College,
Texas College,
Texas Southern University,
Wilberforce University,
Wiley College,
Winston-Salem State University,
or Xavier University of Louisiana.

  • Open to designated majors:
    • Business
    • Hospitality Management
    • Marketing
    • Sales
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.

How to Apply

All Applicants Must: 

  • Answer the following statement (Video) (Maximum of 2 min – Please record in a quiet environment with adequate lighting)
    • Tell us about a time when you succeeded or failed. What were your learnings from the experience?
