Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Deloitte Foundation are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Up to Seventy (70) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $8,000 for the 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees and which may be renewable for multiple years).

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Open to Accounting majors (or high school seniors who intend to major in accounting).
  • An applicant must be one of the following a:
    1. High school senior graduating in spring 2024 who will be matriculating full-time to a four-year HBCU as a first-year student in the 2024-2025 academic school year
    2. Community college student who is transferring and matriculating full-time to a four-year HBCU as a first-year student, sophomore or a junior in the 2024-2025 academic school year
    3. Full-time student currently enrolled at an HBCU as a first-year student or sophomore during the 2023-2024 academic school year.
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must have the 2024-2025 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
