Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of the publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs) within the TMCF 47 member-school network. Selected recipients will receive a fall scholarship up to $1,000 for the 2020-2021 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need, and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.
Eligibility requirements:
- Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2021-2022 academic school year.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Have an unpaid school balance of up to $1,000.
- Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
