Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and CVS Health are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of the three pre-selected publicly-supported Historically Black College and University (HBCU) and Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) Pharmacy Schools within the TMCF 47 member-school network. Selected scholars will receive a one-year scholarship up to $5,000 for the 2020 Spring and 2020 Fall semester. Which will be used to cover the costs of tuition and fees, on-campus room and board, and required textbooks purchased from member schools. The scholarship will be disbursed in the Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters at $2,500 per semester. The recipient must be willing to apply for a CVS Health 2020 Summer internship.
Eligibility requirements:
- Enrolled as a full-time graduate or doctoral student in 2020 Spring and 2020 Fall at the following of TMCF’s 47 member-schools:
- Florida A & M University – Pharmacy School
- University of Maryland Eastern Shore – Pharmacy School
- Texas Southern University – Pharmacy School
- Open to Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Doctor of Pharmacy majors
- Current grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Demonstrate outstanding financial need
- Demonstrate leadership ability through a variety of measures
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card
Applicants must submit the following documents for consideration:

- Recommendation letter from current school professor or faculty member (must be completed online by the recommender)
