Scholarship Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Ford are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 53 publicly-supported HBCUs, HBCCs, PBIs, medical and law schools. Seven (7) scholars will be selected to receive a fall need-based scholarship up to $6,200 for 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
- Open to designated majors:
- STEM or engineering or engineering related majors. These majors can include: electrical, mechanical, or materials engineering, data analytics, IT, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, urban and regional planning, or other related fields.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Must have the 2024-2025 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
