Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Mondelēz International are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 53 publicly-supported HBCUs, HBCCs, PBIs, medical and law schools. Fifteen (15) scholars will be selected to receive a fall need-based scholarship up to $9,000 for 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees). This is a four-year renewable scholarship. Scholars who continue to meet the criteria, remain in good standing and maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA will be eligible for annual renewals.

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Must be a graduating senior in high school for the 2023-2024 academic year.
  • Be enrolled full-time as an incoming freshman at a TMCF member-school during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Must have the 2024-2025 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
