Attending the Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s Leadership Institue (LI) allowed me to network and bond with intellectuals on a different level. I have made life-long friends that I am still in contact with to this day. LI was an opportunity for me to grow and develop into one of our country’s future leaders. The benefits I liked most about the conference were the networking events, career fair and the on the stop interviews for all of the TMCF scholars. Due to the career fair, I was able to secure a career working with City Year. I would highly recommend TMCF and its programs to any scholar that wants to succeed and gain the necessary skills to be a top leader.
