“My participation in TMCF has allowed me to use my voice, skills, and abilities in spaces I previously believed I did not belong. I was fortunate enough to have been selected as one of the hosts of the 2021 Leadership Institute. By taking on this leadership role, I could step out of my comfort zone. Unequivocally, this role made it clear that I can do anything, and this hearkens back to the mission of TMCF – to ensure that all students who apply are given the vital skills to be change agents in the world through leadership development. TMCF single-handedly gave me hope that my future can mean something, that my life is just as important, that I am worthy, and that all the skills I have acquired through leadership training and webinars will aid in my career trajectory in the future.”
