Scholarship Overview
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), and Ford are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Eight (8) scholars will be selected to receive a fall need-based scholarship up to $5,000 for 2023-2024 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate junior or senior for the 2023-2024 academic year at one of the following schools:
- Alabama A&M University
- Florida A& M University
- Hampton University
- Howard University
- Jackson State University
- Morgan State University
- Norfolk State University
- North Carolina Agriculture & Technical University
- Prairie View A&M University
- Southern University
- Tennessee State University
- Tuskegee University
- University of the District of Columbia
- University of Maryland, Eastern Shore
- Virginia State University
- Open to designated majors:
- STEM or engineering or engineering related majors
- Current cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Submitted the 2023-2024 FAFSA to your selected university/college.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
