Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and CVS Health are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of the three pre-selected publicly-supported Historically Black College and University (HBCU) and Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) Pharmacy Schools within the TMCF 47 member-school network. One (1) scholar will be selected to receive a spring scholarship up to $5,000 for the Spring 2020-2021 academic school year. The scholarship will be disbursed in the Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 academic years (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility requirements:

  • Be enrolled full-time as a graduate or doctoral student in pharmacy school at a TMCF member-school during the 2020-2021 academic school year.
  • Open to Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Doctor of Pharmacy majors.
  • Scholarship recipients must be willing to apply for a CVS Health summer 2021 internship.
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
