Scholarship Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and ICON Clinical Research Limited are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Eight (8) scholars will be selected to receive a fall need-based scholarship up to $10,250 ($5,125.00 per semester) for the 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be enrolled full-time as a junior or senior at select HBCUs during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
  • Must attend one of the following schools:
    • Alabama A&M University
    • Bowie State University
    • Charles R. Drew University of Medicine
    • Delaware State University
    • Florida A&M University
    • Howard University
    • Jackson State University
    • Lincoln University (PA)
    • Morgan State University
    • North Carolina A&T State University
    • Prairie View A&M University
    • Southern University and A&M College
    • Tennessee State University
    • Texas Southern University
    • Tuskegee University
    • University of Maryland Eastern Shore
  • Open to designated majors:
    • Data Analytics
    • Data Management
    • Mathematics
    • Life Sciences
    • Medicine
    • Nursing
    • Pharmacy
    • Statistics
    • STEM related fields
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Must have the 2024-2025 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
