The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Lowe’s are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending one of TMCF’s member-schools that include 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Sixty (60) scholars will be selected to receive a spring scholarship up to $500- $7,500 for the 2021-2022 academic school year. Selected students must be in good academic standing but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be enrolled full-time as a sophomore, junior or senior at a TMCF member-school during the 2021-2022 academic school year.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Have an unpaid school balance between $500-$7,500.
- Must not currently have a 2021-2022 TMCF Scholarship.
- Must not have previously received the Lowe’s Scholarship.
- Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
