Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Stephen Feinberg Scholarship Fund are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Tuskegee University. Five (5) scholars will be selected to receive multi-year scholarships up to $8,500 starting in the 2021-2022 academic year, which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Be Black or of African descent.
  • Be attending Tuskegee University during the 2021-2022 academic year.
  • Be enrolled as a sophomore during the 2021-2022 academic year.
  • Be enrolled full-time.
  • Have a current cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
  • Must demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Must demonstrate a financial need.
  • Must be willing to participate in the TMCF Career Readiness Training Program.

How to Apply

All Applicants Must:

  • Upload a professional resume reviewed by your Career Services Center.
  • Provide a copy of the 2021-2022 FAFSA Student Aid Report.
  • Provide the transcript (official or unofficial) for your most recently completed academic term. This should include your final Fall 2020 grades and cumulative GPA.
  • Provide an email address for one recommender to complete a brief character reference form.
  • Answer the following statement in Hirevue (Maximum of 1-2 minutes per question):
    • Tell us about your current financial situation. What would receiving this scholarship mean to you?
    • What impact will a college degree have on your life plan?
