Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and the Stephen Feinberg Foundation are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Alabama State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Morgan State University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Winston-Salem State University which are publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) within the TMCF 47 member-school network. Seventeen (17) Selected recipients from each school will receive a fall scholarship up to $8,500 for the 2021-2022 academic year. Selected students must be in good academic standing, but at risk of not returning or graduating from college due to an outstanding financial need, and/or emergency situation that leads to a financial aid crisis.

Eligibility requirements:

Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at one of the following schools:

    • Alabama State University
    • Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University
    • Morgan State University
    • Norfolk State University
    • North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University
    • University of Maryland – Eastern Shore
    • Winston-Salem State University
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Able to demonstrate a financial need.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
