Scholarship Overview

Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and WestRock are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Twenty-eight (28) scholars will be selected to receive a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 for the 2024-2025 academic school year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees). Scholarship recipients will have the ability to receive an additional renewable award (up to $10,000) for a second year, based on continued, positive academic standing.

 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Be enrolled full-time as a rising sophomore, junior or senior at an HBCU during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
  • Open to designated majors:
    • Engineering (chemical/mechanical/electrical/industrial)
    • Pulp/Paper science
    • Accounting/Finance
    • Supply Chain
  • Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.
