During my internship at the Boeing Company, I interned under the Global Supplier Diversity. This gave me an opportunity to work within Boeing’s Strategic Initiatives and introduce small minority businesses to all available opportunities at Boeing. Along with the special projects I completed for my internship, the experience has impacted my professional endeavors and made me a stronger collaborator. Working with a team virtually forces you to effectively communicate with teammates, suppliers, and upper level management in order to complete the various task at hand.
TMCF has contributed to both my collegiate and professional success because the organization has taken me past the point of just meeting expectations, but to exceed them and stand out. The various workshops and professional development courses I have participated in have been a major impact to my overall success. With a team behind me as connected and well-rounded as TMCF, I have been able to go above and beyond what I thought was unattainable and reconstruct my idea of high performance.
