Networking is of the upmost importance. Actually, my first internship was through Thurgood Marshall College Fund. And through TMCF, I gained so many contacts and met so many different people and I’ve kept those relationships going through the years. Through those relationships, I’ve received so many other opportunities coming back to LI — to the Leadership Institute getting internships abroad as well as getting offers that I will be considering after graduation.
