Q: Is this a fundraiser?

A:Yes, this is TMCF’s annual  fundraising event in support of scholarships, internship, and professional development programming.  We will accept checks and credit cards during the event.  You may also donate at https://www.tmcf.org/online-gift/

Q: Do I need a physical ticket for the Gala?

A: No tickets, all guests will be assigned a seat for the Gala upon arrival and check-in. However, everyone must check-in prior to gaining access to the ballroom.

Q: Where and what time should guest report to check-in to receive his or her table assignment?

A: Check-in will be on the 5th floor (look for directional signage). Check-in starts at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m.

Q: If I arrive late for the event, what should I do?

A: Check-in will be open until 8:00 p.m. If you arrive after 8:00 p.m., report directly to the Marriott Ballroom, and a TMCF host will assist you.

Q: I have a seat at the Gala, but cannot attend now. What should I do?

A: Please contact Hailee Greene at 845.659.6343 and let her know you will not be able to attend and provide the name of the guest who will be coming in your place..

Q: What time does the program portion of the Gala start?

A: Doors to the Marriott Ballroom will open at 6:30 p.m., and the program portion of the Gala will start promptly at 7:00 p.m.

Q: What time does the pre-receptions start/end and are there any post events?

A: The pre-receptions start at 5:00 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. There will be an invite only VIP post-reception after the gala.

Q: What is the price and location for event parking?

A: Parking is $95 per vehicle.

Q: Is there coat check, where is it located and what is the cost?

A: Coat check is located on the lobby level near the escalators. The cost is complimentary to all guests attending the Gala.

Q: I have a dietary restriction. What should I do to request the alternate meal?

A: Contact Hailee Greene at 845.659.6343 to let her know you require an alternate meal. Please note that due to the number of people attending the event, we can only provide vegetarian/vegan meals as alternate options.

Q: Can I bring a camera and/or video camera?

A: We ask that you not bring cameras or video cameras to the event. Using the camera on your mobile device or small tablet is preferred and acceptable.

Q: Can I take pictures with the celebrity guests?

A: We ask that you do not approach a celebrity and the celebrity tables once we enter the ballroom to avoid disruptions during the show or dinner. However, if you see someone you want to take a picture with outside the ballroom, feel free to ask if you can get a picture with them.
