Program Overview
The Medtronic HBCU Immersion Program is a highly competitive program that will invite its brightest freshman and sophomore students from HBCUs together for a three-day, all inclusive experience and introduction to the world’s largest Healthcare Technology company. Immersion participants will leave with increased knowledge and awareness of how Medtronic is transforming the lives of 2 patients every second. Students will also discover the world of possibilities that a future career in the Healthcare Technology space holds. You will experience the Medtronic Mindset and Culture, network with top Executives in the organization, while engaging with your peers and leaving with a renewed sense of opportunity.
This highly competitive program targets undergraduate Freshman or Sophomores currently matriculating in the following majors and functional areas:
- IT: Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems
- Engineering: Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
- Supply Chain: Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain
- Finance: Finance, Accounting
Additional Qualifications:
- Currently matriculating as a Freshman or Sophomore
- Enrolled full-time at an HBCU
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Must be able to participate in and successfully complete all program-related activities
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and does not require sponsorship in the future for an employment visa
- Must not have any disciplinary infractions on academic record
**The 2024 Medtronic | TMCF Immersion Program is scheduled for June 23 – June 27th, 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Selected scholars will receive free lodging, travel, and major meals covered as a part of their participation.**
