If it wasn’t for TMCF… I would not have had the opportunity to develop professionally and expand my potential. Through Thurgood Marshall College Fund, I was able to complete two internships at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, receive a MillerCoors scholarship (who would go on to become my current employer), and establish lifelong professional relationships with diverse peers globally.
I am a reflection of Justice Thurgood Marshall because… I humbly rose above life obstacles and worked my family out of poverty. I used my section 8 surroundings, mother’s love, and overall life challenges to fuel my hunger for furthering my education which reversed my life’s outcome.
