Every year, prior to the main celebration or big game, students and alumni dress up in the best school paraphernalia and return to campus to socialize, dine, and network. TMCF x Friends will host a privately streamed Moet Hennessy mixology session and pre-show with Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter, producer, and actor Anthony Hamilton for their biggest supporters and friends to celebrate HBCUs and the amazing opportunities TMCF provides for diverse talent.

During the #RISE HC2K20, TMCF will be announcing the Inaugural Top 20 “Partners in Diversity,” a recognition for 20 rising stars who advocate for and provide meaningful professional and leadership development for HBCU talent.

Hip-Hop has influenced the world since its creation in the Bronx during the 70s, a cultural phenom that continues to influence and highlight issues that affect communities. Freestyles and rap battles have honed tr favorite artists’ skills who started their careers at our beloved HBCUs. David Banner and 2Chainz, just to name a few, have been birthed from our historic institutions. New talent will emerge to paint their HBCU pride narrative during the main celebration after being chosen from TMCF’s cypher competition.
